Ensuring school improvement that includes diverse perspectives and creates the opportunity for powerful learning experiences for each learner can be a struggle. The Universal Design for Learning Schoolwide Implementation Criteria (UDL-SIC) provides a framework for systematically addressing complex problems of practice when trying to create inclusive learning environments that are effective for all students. Built on the foundation of the Universal Design for Learning (UDL), the UDL-SIC looks beyond just teaching and learning and recognizes the four domains of School Culture & Environment, Leadership & Management, Teaching & Learning, and Professional Learning to identify successes, areas of growth and opportunities for change.
Join us for a series of eight engaging online workshops supported by asynchronous resources during the 2025-2026 school year to discover how the SIC framework can be used to apply UDL in your unique learning environment.
