Melissa brings her experience as a teacher, licensed social worker, school leader and school designer to the work. She has spent much of her career refining personalized instruction, shifting to competency-based models, building trauma-informed school environments, implementing social and emotional learning, and instituting restorative justice practices for service to off-track youth.
