Advancing Inclusive Technology Together: A Free Webinar with CITES and ATIA

Overview

All are invited to attend this free interactive conversation between ATIA, who is also hosting, and CAST’s Center on Inclusive Technology & Education Systems (CITES). This webinar will introduce key CITES resources that support inclusive technology planning, implementation, and systems change, with a focus on how district leaders, including AT professionals, can use them in practice.

AT and EdTech providers will gain insights into the leadership and infrastructure practices and actions steps including procurement considerations to the implementation of AT and accessible digital educational materials. Leaders will be able to share perspectives and ideas on emerging needs and how providers can support the implementation of inclusive systems, providing resources and helping to shape the future direction of the work at CITES.

Learning Objectives

  • Participants will be able to leverage the CITES framework and two or more resources to strengthen district relationships by demonstrating commitment to accessibility, inclusion, and long‑term impact.
  • Participants will be able to identify two or more partnership strategies that enable companies to collaborate with districts, states, and intermediaries in ways that build trust, support implementation of fidelity, and advance sustainable inclusive technology ecosystems.
  • Participants will collaborate with peers to examine one or more procurement challenges and identify how CITES can strengthen accessible decisions.
