During that time, he instructed fourth-grade students, managed teacher residents, and acted as a district fellow in the Office of Achievement and Accountability. Bobby was also the Founder and Executive Director of the ed-tech non-profit Student Opportunities & Academic Resources (SOAR). As SOAR launched, Bobby was recruited as a social entrepreneur fellow at the Johns Hopkins Social Innovation Lab and the Halcyon Incubator. Additionally, Bobby was the Lead Project Manager of a federally funded Race-To-The-Top program (the Early Childhood Comprehensive Assessment System) at the Johns Hopkins University School of Education, Center for Technology in Education. In this role, Bobby oversaw the implementation and management of early childhood assessment programming across five state education agencies. Most recently, Bobby contributed to the creation and advancement of K-8 virtual reading tutoring initiatives at two separate tutoring companies: Amplify and BookNook. While serving as both a Program Manager and Director of Tutor Readiness, Bobby developed and implemented onboarding, management, and compliance processes to drive the delivery of over 10,000 tutors and 50,000 virtual tutoring lessons across ten states.

Bobby lives in Baltimore City with his wife and daughter. During his free time, he enjoys attending soccer practice with his daughter, traveling with family, and fishing.
