The Virtual UDL Video Club is an innovative form of professional learning that supports teachers in working collaboratively with their peers to improve their instructional practice. By jointly reviewing video footage from their classrooms, teachers can collaborate in authentic classroom observation that supports cycles of continuous improvement.
Through this project, a competency-based Outdoor Recreation pathway will be developed within the existing Career & Technical Education (CTE) programming in the region. Additionally, extended learning opportunity content will be developed with the Outdoor Recreation competencies to create work-based learning opportunities for students that don’t have access to CTE programs.
We're leading a field-building initiative to stimulate, support, and sustain best practices in UDL education program design, product development, and classroom instruction to meet the growing global demand for UDL as a design framework that recognizes variability among all learners.
The Students and Families First Coalition brings together experts in special education, inclusion, and instructional effectiveness; improvement science; family engagement; and culturally responsive practices to assist schools in looking at special education practices.

Oak Foundation has awarded CAST and the UDL Implementation and Research Network (UDL-IRN) $1 million over three years in support of efforts to create the Universal Design for Learning Certification and Credentialing Initiative (UDL-CCI).

New Profit, a national venture philanthropy organization, has awarded $100,000 to CAST and the UDL Implementation and Research Network (UDL-IRN) to support the development and launch of Universal Design for Learning K-12 school-level certifications as part of a larger multi-year UDL Certification and Credentialing Initiative (UDL-CCI).
