CAST works to increase opportunities to learn for all individuals. Today we pursue this mission through the scientific research, development, and dissemination of educational approaches based on Universal Design for Learning (UDL).
CAST regularly partners with organizations in the public and private sectors to explore challenging questions in education. CAST brings a unique perspective from its years of developing the Universal Design for Learning framework to scientific studies in education.
This EdTech Design Challenge and Incubator project gives high school youth the opportunity to immerse themselves in design thinking, cutting-edge technology and the innovation economy, allowing them to discover new talents and interests beyond the narrow confines and literacies valued in school.
A research project to develop and evaluate the impact of a writing professional learning ecosystem to support the needs of 7th and 8th grade teachers to provide more effective writing instruction to students with high-incidence disabilities in preparation for college and career.
