If selected, your team will receive individualized support and coaching from the AEM Center over a four-year partnership. Together, we’ll implement high leverage and evidence-based practices for building statewide and local systems for the timely provision and effective use of AEM and accessible technologies for all learners who need them. Join us for an information session on the benefits and responsibilities of being an AEM Cohort state, as well as the specifics of the application process for joining the cohort.

Universal Design for Learning (UDL) provides educators with practical strategies and techniques to ensure that all learners can meet high expectations. In this session, we will explore the foundational concepts of UDL as one component of an inclusive learning environment - the other two being the universal design of the physical space and the accessibility of the learning tools and materials. The discussion will include demonstrations of a number of new tools for making STEM content accessible for a variety of learners.
