Description

Journey mapping is a powerful tool that uses storytelling and visualization to help us better understand and empathize with individual experiences and needs. As we embark on an unprecedented academic year, educators face many uncertainties, including how instruction will be delivered — remote, hybrid, face-to-face, or a combination of those throughout the year. In each of these environments, journey mapping can be leveraged to design instruction to better meet the needs of all learners. Kim Ducharme, CAST Director of Educational User Experience Design, and Bill Wilmot, CAST Implementation Specialist, will share examples of how to incorporate journey mapping into your planning. Join us, whether you’re an educator planning lessons, an administrator planning schedules and meetings, or someone who simply wants to learn more about how to design more inclusive and effective instruction.
