Virtual and in-person attendance options available.

The 6th Annual Great Lakes UDL Experience will have a twist this year: our focus will be on providing leadership teams with a deep dive into systemic, school wide UDL implementation.

Administrative teams will receive a semester-long, immersive experience designed to help them understand and use the UDL School Implementation and Certification Criteria (UDL-SICC) to develop or refine their UDL implementation plan. The event begins with a daylong session on December 12, featuring national speakers who will help teams use their school data and the UDL-SICC to understand their schools/districts strengths and needs. Content will be personalized to allow teams to select their own path toward improved UDL implementation.

After the full day, attendees will receive three additional follow up sessions. These will be shorter than the first day (likely around two hours) and fully virtual. Participants will receive new content based on their specific needs and have the chance to ask questions related to their progress implementing the plans created during day one. We also hope to nurture ongoing conversations between attendees from different areas in order to create UDL implementation communities and support groups.
