CAST Comments on the College Affordability Act

Modernizing the Higher Education Act is vital to teacher preparation and to creating greater access to college for students who face barriers to learning such as language, low-literacy and/or disability. We applaud Chairman Scott for ensuring evidence-based practices such as Universal Design for Learning and the accessibility of technology, materials and open educational resources are central to the discussion.
