Oak Foundation has awarded CAST and the UDL Implementation and Research Network (UDL-IRN) $1 million over three years in support of efforts to create the Universal Design for Learning Certification and Credentialing Initiative (UDL-CCI).

Dr. James D. Basham is the Senior Director of Learning & Innovation at CAST and founder of the Universal Design for Learning - Implementation and Research Network (UDL-IRN). He is also an Associate Professor at the Department of Special Education at the University of Kansas.

Our research projects are typically funded by grants from federal organizations and private foundations. When developing proposals for these grants, we are always looking for schools, districts, and organizations to partner with us.
