Carole Lacy

As Chief Financial Officer & Human Resources Director, Ms. Lacy oversees the accounting functions within CAST, supervises accounting staff, and provides oversight to the financial audit in accordance with GAAP.

She works in collaboration with CAST's leadership team and project leaders to ensure project and overall organizational success. She leads the effort in creating the organizational budget and has helped lead efforts to improve project monitoring with the design of time management for proper allocation of labor costs to programs.

CAST undergoes A-133 audits for federal funds and has been praised by the outside audit firm as being one of the top 3 nonprofit clients for quality in systems, processes, and overall smooth audits.

Carole has presented at workshops for Head Start parents and teachers on personal financial management.
