Beth Poss, Coordinator of the Preschool Education Program in Montgomery County Public Schools, Maryland
Early learning professionals
Join us as we explore developmentally appropriate apps and other technology resources for supporting the growth of language, play, literacy, and early math skills for children birth to eight years of age. Current research on the use of assistive technology for young children with disabilities will be discussed, as well as the role of Universal Design for Learning (UDL) in early childhood settings.
This video supplement to the archived recording of the live webinar features a demonstration of apps selected by Beth. Watch and listen as she not only shows the features of the apps but, more importantly, models how to interact with and engage children while using them. Note that this video is a supplement to the recording of the live webinar and not a substitute.
