    On November 18, Digital Promise hosted the first-ever design challenge titled “Designing a Better Future for Adult Learners.” The event took place in five locations across the United States, linked by simulcast web conferencing technology.   • Corgi logo: Co-organize your learning

    2018–2022

    This project extends a CAST/SRI Google App-based curriculum and technology innovation called Corgi(Co-Organize Learning with the Google Interface) to improve STEM learning and higher-order thinking for middle students with learning disabilities and their typically developing peers in general education STEM courses.

    CAST and the University of Kansas have created Corgi, an innovative suite of tools that marks the next generation of information and graphic organizers. These tools support students to organize and co-organize their learning by engaging with graphic organizers in a digital, flexible, Google App environment that can be integrated into any learning environment.

    Through this project, a competency-based Outdoor Recreation pathway will be developed within the existing Career & Technical Education (CTE) programming in the region. Additionally, extended learning opportunity content will be developed with the Outdoor Recreation competencies to create work-based learning opportunities for students that don’t have access to CTE programs.
