On November 18, Digital Promise hosted the first-ever design challenge titled “Designing a Better Future for Adult Learners.” The event took place in five locations across the United States, linked by simulcast web conferencing technology. CAST's Director of Design, Kim Ducharme, and Senior Interactive Designer, Cassandra Sell, both participated.
This project extends a CAST/SRI Google App-based curriculum and technology innovation called Corgi(Co-Organize Learning with the Google Interface) to improve STEM learning and higher-order thinking for middle students with learning disabilities and their typically developing peers in general education STEM courses.
