    When disability makes it difficult or impossible for students to read or use printed educational materials, they may need one or more specialized formats of the content–braille, large print, audio and/or digital text. The first half of this session will provide a brief overview of four specialized formats, five sources of specialized formats and the criteria that must be met to obtain materials from each source. The second half of the session will be devoted to addressing questions and comments from participants. Follow-up resources will be shared.

We’ll reserve plenty of time for your questions. This is the first of two joint webinars to support the work of AEM State Contacts and NIMAC State Coordinators. Early in 2018, the NIMAC and the AEM Center will co-present on the provision of NIMAS files and related topics.
