Project Description
CAST is partnering with Google Corporation to develop tools for Supported Reading and Supported Inquiry to improve adolescent literacy. Initially, CAST and Google will collaborate in the area of Supported Reading by creating and widely disseminating a UDL Book Builder-like tool that enables teachers and students to create supported digital books with Universal Design for Learning features. In the second phase of the work, CAST will work with Google to create a design for a Supported Inquiry tool that guides diverse learners through the inquiry, search, analysis, and writing process.
