Project Description
CAST is collaborating with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network (PaTTAN) in an IDEA General Supervision Enhancement grant to help students with Individual Education Plans for whom neither the general nor the alternate assessment appropriately demonstrate what they know and are able to do when participating in the general grade level assessments. CAST is providing guidance in integrating the principles of UDL into assessments, consultation in designing related professional development, and is serving on the project’s advisory committee.
