Project Description
SRI International and CAST are collaborating to advance the preparation of preservice teachers in middle school mathematics through the research and development of a digital media resource (a “DynaBook”) coupled with a novel preservice education model. The model will immerse preservice teachers in use of this resource as an exemplary instance of technology-rich mathematics with three goals in mind: to deepen teacher content knowledge in mathematics, to develop key pedagogical skills, and to support the beneficial use of technology in teaching.
