Educators are challenged to teach all kinds of learners to high standards, yet a single classroom may include students who struggle to learn for any number of reasons. Join experts in the field of Universal Design for Learning who provide participants with tools, strategies, and principles for designing lessons and units of study that meet the diverse needs of today's classrooms. Participants will

  • explore the principles and core concepts of UDL
  • learn about the UDL framework for designing lessons and units of study
  • collaborate with colleagues and other educators in planning curriculum lessons and units
  • engage in hands-on activities to support lesson development
  • apply the UDL framework to the design of lessons that focus on improving learning outcomes for all students
