AT-CAST INSTITUTES offer educators information and strategies for addressing the diverse needs of all students in today’s classrooms to minimize barriers to learning and maximize opportunities for all students. Participants in these institutes have the benefit of working with several experts in the field of Universal Design for Learning. Universal Design for Learning is a framework for designing curricula that enable all students to gain knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm for learning. UDL provides rich supports for learning and reduces barriers to the curriculum while maintaining high achievement standards for all.
Institutes take place at CAST, 40 Harvard Mills Square, Suite 3, Wakefield, MA. Located approximately 10 miles north of Boston, and across the street from the Commuter Rail station into downtown Boston, our location affords institute participants the opportunity to explore the city and take advantage of cultural, culinary, sports, and shopping after a full day of learning.
