National UDL Consortium

In 1999, CAST launched the National Consortium on Universal Design for Learning. The National Consortium is a virtual community of educators who are interested in learning about UDL and are willing to share ideas and practices that benefit all students, especially those with disabilities.

Members receive a free bimonthly email newsletter with up-to-date information on UDL research and practice and other issues related to improving educational outcomes for all students. The newsletter also provides updates on professional development opportunities at CAST.
