New Hampshire UDL Innovation Network Year One Report Released

CAST today released the Year One (2018) report for the New Hampshire UDL Innovation Network, a groundbreaking collaboration between the New Hampshire Department of Education and CAST.
This three-year initiative enables school-based educators to create innovative classroom lessons, build collaborative school cultures, and become immersed in the inclusive practices of Universal Design for Learning. CAST provides hands-on coaching and mentoring in the implementation of UDL, a research-based framework for improving teaching and learning for all.
In Year One, 215 New Hampshire educators from 32 schools and 17 school administrative units (SAUs) took part. New participants are being added in Years Two and Three.
“What an exciting year we had partnering with New Hampshire,” says Jennifer Levine, CAST Director of Professional Learning. “At every level, New Hampshire’s educators and education leaders have embraced the challenge to discover creative ways of reaching all learners without lowering standards. The intelligence, enthusiasm, and commitment of these teams bodes well for New Hampshire’s future.”
