Principal, Padanaram Associates
For decades, Edwin D. Campbell has been a leader in education, technology, and business. After holding a number of senior management positions in Boston-area high-tech corporations, Dr. Campbell served from 1971–1976 as president of the Educational Development Center (EDC), an international nonprofit research, development, and services.
From 1976–1983, Dr. Campbell developed and led a management institute for Gulf Oil, then became Executive Vice President of the National Alliance of Business (NAB) from 1983–1986. At NAB, he oversaw efforts to maximize business support and participation in implementing the federal Job Training Partnership Act.
In subsequent years, Dr. Campbell served in a number of leading positions in education: Dean of the Adelphi University School of Business, Vice President of the Educational Testing Service’s professional/occupa-tional assessment division, and Executive Director of the Coalition of Essential Schools, a national school reform consortium.
He joined Padanaram Associates, a management consulting firm serving nonprofit organizations and government agencies, in 1996. He has been a member of CAST's Board of Directors (1994–2002) and holds a doctorate in education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
